NEW WOOD

Rub with dry or wet fine sand paper or alternatively use machine grinding with fine sand paper. Dust off between coats.

Remove all dust and contaminants. Final appearance of the surface should be uniformly clean free of dust, cleaning agent and other chemical residues. Apply first coat of varnish thinned min. 20% to act as sealer coat.

Moisture content of wood shall not exceed 20%.

Non-durable softwoods should be treated with a wood preservative.

PREVIOUSLY VARNISHED WOOD

with sweet water. Otherwise residues left behind can retard drying properties and
give adhesion problems. Or use a combination of one(1) part of ammonia water in
six (6) parts of sweet water. Allow to dry.

If using Paint remover to remove all stain, rinse well with sweet water and allow to dry.
