Coatings Chemistry

Anticipating needs and monitoring their evolution
Sipco proposes different types of chemistry adapted to the anticipation or the evolution of needs. Water based to solvent free solutions, Sipco now has wide ranging technological expertise through the chemistry of epoxies, polyurethanes, polymers, bituminous, silane, silicone, acrylic-based and alkyd coatings.

Epoxies

A reference in the industrial coatings sector and in Sipco' range. Epoxy chemistry provides liquid solutions and, especially, solvent free products. These different characteristics make it possible to meet the varied needs and constraints of applicators, without compromising on the final performance of the coatings.

Polyurethanes

Polyurethane chemistry is an essential solution for meeting industrial requirements. The reactivity and performance of polyurethane based coatings, combined with rapid drying, make them an ideal solution for many different applications: internal functional coatings, anticorrosion coatings for pipelines, buried tanks, etc.

Bitumens

Bitumen chemistry, combined with Sipco's expertise, is still proposed for specific markets, enabling a combination of performance, ease of application and cost advantages, particularly for industrial applications.

Silicones

In order to meet both heat resistance requirements and environmental constraints, Sipco also relies heavily on polymer chemistry, enabling solutions that are more environmentally friendly to be proposed. Silicone chemistry has now won its spurs, particularly within industry.

Silanes

A new type of chemistry, at the service of innovation
This solution is a chemical treatment for steel surfaces and is an alternative to chromation. Associated with the Silpipe patented process for the treatment of steel pipes, it meets the stringent requirements of both specifiers and applicators in technical and environmental terms.
